Lex's 3rd Birthday

We had so much fun with the birthday girl on her big day!  Daddy had the day off work so we planned some fun things for our sweet girl.

Kinda blurry, but this is our first look at our 3 year old!:)

We had blown up a bunch of balloons for her to see when she came downstairs!  She thought that was pretty fun.:)

And, of course, we had sprinkle doughnuts for her special breakfast!

Before we headed out, Lex got a visit from her cousins!  Day=made!:)  They brought her a gift...Hungry Hungry Hippos!

We headed into Build a Bear to get some new friends!  Alexis picked a pink My Little Pony named Cupcake.:)

Our next stop was at Wendy's for some chicken and fries (OF COURSE) and then we headed to the park for a picnic and playground play.

We made one more stop before we headed home...at the cupcake store!  Every birthday girl needs a little cake.:)

After naps, Lex got up and opened some more presents!

She got some puzzles and this beautiful Sofia the First nightgown!

And a BOUNCE HOUSE!

And one last gift...a Pocahontas dress!  We had the best day celebrating Lex.  I can't believe she's already three!!!

Alexis: 3 Years Old!

Three years old...how on earth is that possible?!  Our sweet big girl!!!

You are precious beyond words.  You are a bundle of smiles and energy and I love you more than I can say.  You were worth every single minute of our wait to have you and I am so, so thankful that God blessed us with you.  You make life exciting and fun and so very enjoyable!  You have a wild spirit that is definitely starting to tame a bit.  Part of me is glad for that (ha!) and part of me wants you to be high on life forever!  You have an energy that not everyone has and I know that God is going to use that in a special way.  You are a cherished daughter, a sweet sister, a beloved granddaughter and niece, and a loving friend.  I am honored to be your mommy, Lex Cam!  I love you!!

Bikes and Randoms

This post is full of pics of our new bikes and some other random things happening around here!:)

When we went to Florida, we rented bikes to ride around the island for a while.  We had so much fun that we decided to buy some for our use at home!  We found a bike trailer for the girls and now we're all set to have some summer fun!

Avey learned how to fist bump.:)

The girls got some new garden gloves for all of our summer work!

Rick poured some concrete in his barn and Alexis was so curious about the concrete trucks!  She had to take a little timeout from eating her oatmeal to check it out.:)

We had a fun day with our cousins!  The girls needed to have a dress fitting for their flower girl dresses so we met up at Michele and Kate's salon.
