We had such a fun weekend! I have lots of photos to document the festivities.:)
This was actually on Thursday, but I decided to include it as part of our weekend. Daddy's softball team played at the park and Lex and Brody got to hang out! He wanted a snack so she fed him.:)
Love these two!:)
Avey is such a good girl! She is so easygoing and just goes to sleep when she's tired!
On Friday night, we went to Ronnie and Brenda's for a life group get together. Tucker and Ava hung out while the big kids were swimming!
Ave even tried out the pond and liked it!
Alexis dug in the sand with Brody and Jackson.
Saturday was a super busy and fun day! We started out with the Heritage Days parade in the morning! The girls did awesome and seemed to really enjoy it!
We met up with Shane and Michele and the kids, Alicia and Diego, and Kaitlyn and Tyler.
Ava saw a lot of things for the first time, including a clown who gave her a stamp on her hand!:)
Grammy sang in the parade on her church's float!
The weather was absolutely delightful. It was overcast and slightly cool...the perfect weather for a parade! Ava got sleepy towards the end and snuggled up for a nap.:)
After the parade, we went over the police station for hot dogs and drinks. These cousins love to be together!
After the parade, it was time for Caleb's graduation party! I didn't take any pictures, unfortunately. Kate got this super sweet one of Ava while we were there. She looks so beautiful in purple!
After the party, we loaded up one more time and headed to the balloon glow at the high school! We met up with Rick and Tabby and the girls, Mom and Dad, Michele and the kids, and several other friends. Alexis l-o-v-e-s Ella and Maggi and was thrilled to hang out with them!
She loved watching the balloons go up!
This little sweetie pie was enthralled by all the happenings, too! We are so, so thankful that she is so flexible and willing to go along with all of the stuff we do!
It is so cool to watch the balloons "come to life" before your eyes. Unfortunately, there was rain pushing its way in so they started the show early and kept it pretty short. It's such a fun event and it's quickly becoming a tradition for us to attend!:) It was a delightful (and exhausting) weekend with my family!:)
