Aunt Kate and Tyler spent the night at our house on Thursday night because we had to get up very early to make the 2 hour drive to Plainfield.
Alexis did so well in the car and slept for a little while on the way down.
Shane was only given four tickets so Michele, Peyton, and Teresa sat in the main area and we sat in an auxiliary room. It worked out pretty well since Lex was less than attentive!:)
She made it through part of the program and then I took her out to play in the hallway.
Shane was asked to give the invocation at the beginning of the program. We were very proud of his Christ-like example during his time at the academy!
It's awesome to see that in such a politically correct culture we can still observe moments for prayer in a public venue such as the graduation!
We got to take some pictures with him after the ceremony was over. Poor Zaya was sick and couldn't come and Lill got to stay home and play with Grandma. Peyt was such a good boy!
I sort of missed this photo op, but Terry and Whitney were there to see Jon graduate. It was cool to be able to be there for him, too.
Our little family with Huntington's finest police officer! He not only graduated with honors, but he was ranked #2 in his class academically. So proud!:)
